{"id":1633,"date":"2023-06-14T15:23:37","date_gmt":"2023-06-14T15:23:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rawmco.com\/alerta-por-reaparicion-de-la-gripe-aviar-en-el-mundo\/"},"modified":"2023-06-14T15:23:37","modified_gmt":"2023-06-14T15:23:37","slug":"alerta-por-reaparicion-de-la-gripe-aviar-en-el-mundo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rawmco.com\/en\/alerta-por-reaparicion-de-la-gripe-aviar-en-el-mundo\/","title":{"rendered":"Alerta por reaparici\u00f3n de la gripe aviar en el mundo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>La Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) ha comunicado este lunes la situaci\u00f3n de alerta ante la r\u00e1pida propagaci\u00f3n de brotes de gripe aviar, con casos reportados en cerca de 40 pa\u00edses desde el pasado septiembre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abPido a los pa\u00edses que vigilen atentamente los focos de gripe aviar en aves y los casos humanos que puedan estar relacionados con ellos\u00bb, ha dicho la directora general de la OMS, Margaret Chan.En su intervenci\u00f3n durante la primera sesi\u00f3n del Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo de la Organizaci\u00f3n, Chan ha indicado que en dos situaciones no se ha podido excluir el contagio entre personas, aunque, de haber ocurrido, no fueron situaciones de transmisi\u00f3n sostenida del virus.Varios de los brotes reportados a la Organizaci\u00f3n corresponden a tipos de virus altamente infecciosos en aves de corral y en aves salvajes.De las cepas virales que han saltado al ser humano, Chan ha mencionado el caso del virus H7N9, que circula en China desde 2013 y que ha ocasionado m\u00e1s de un millar de casos, con una mortalidad del 38,5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n han aparecido \u00faltimamente nuevas cepas, como la H5N6, que est\u00e1 provocando un grave brote en Asia y que proviene del intercambio gen\u00e9tico de cuatro diferentes virus, seg\u00fan ha explicado.Brotes de gripe aviar se han reportado, adem\u00e1s de en China, en pa\u00edses tan distantes como Chile, Croacia, Jap\u00f3n y Taiw\u00e1n. La situaci\u00f3n se ha agravado desde diciembre, con un aumento inesperado y fuerte de casos, por lo que Chan ha pedido a todos los pa\u00edses cumplir con su deber de detectar e informar r\u00e1pidamente de los casos humanos que sean identificados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abNo podemos permitirnos pasar por alto se\u00f1ales de alerta\u00bb, ha sentenciado en un discurso en el que pas\u00f3 revista a los logros de la organizaci\u00f3n que dirigir\u00e1 hasta mediados de este a\u00f1o, tras diez a\u00f1os en el cargo.El Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo de la OMS, una instancia de decisi\u00f3n compuesta por 34 pa\u00edses miembros, se re\u00fane entre este lunes y el 1 de febrero para -entre otros asuntos- elegir a los tres candidatos que presentar\u00e1 a la Asamblea General de la Organizaci\u00f3n para reemplazar a Chan, cuya elecci\u00f3n tendr\u00e1 lugar en el pr\u00f3ximo mes de mayo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">Fuente: elmundo.es<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) ha comunicado este lunes la situaci\u00f3n de alerta ante la r\u00e1pida&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":833,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[33],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v20.11 -
